Business Renter Insurance
Written by Investor JimIn Business Renter Insurance, it usually covers the liabilities of a businessman in his or her employees if someone got injured that occurs in the working place or if they got sick due to their exposure in their working environment; or in order to protect them from those circumstances, they are obligated to get them those health shields. This insurance also covers theft and damages that occurs in the business setting. It also covers the machineries used for the business of they are functioning or if those machineries is not working, it will be covered for repair. And also it will cover if you need new machineries to the business in order to operate.
Another which falls under the Business Renter Insurance is the business interruption insurance. A businessman will need this kind of insurance in case that if the business will rely mostly on delivering of goods and services. And lastly under this kind of insurance is the environmental-pollution insurance. It covers if some clean-ups, restoration and some repairs if an environmental accident occur especially if the business is using hazardous equipments used in the business
There are a lot of things that we need to know about Business Renter Insurance. Some people said that this type of insurance only covers big businesses and corporation. And the real answer is not true, actually all types of businesses including the owner of the business can be sued whether it is a small one or a big one. Usually all of the business assets and sometimes the owner’s assets will be taken until the required amount was already paid in full depends on the court order. Another thing that we need to know is that this type of insurance is that the owner of the business is not covered at all. The only ones, aside to the employees, which were covered by the insurance, are the investors and the officers of the business. But some state laws have the power to remove if shows that they are the ones who commit the crime or whatsoever. And lastly, if the business owner passed away, the business will survive definitely. The persons, meaning the investors and the officers, who are involved, are now in-charge of the business and mostly it leads to business dissolution.
Artistic Ways To Make Money
Written by AprilPet Portraits - So many people have pets these days, whether it’s a cat, dog, parrot , horse or rabbit they will often want to commission a portrait of their beloved pet so that they can remember them forever. There are many styles that you could choose to do and it really depends on your own strengths. Many pet portraits can be done in pastel, charcoal, pencil ,oil paints, acrylics and watercolours.
To begin with you could do portraits of your friends’ pets or photos of pets that you find in magazines or on the internet. This way you can build up a portfolio to show potential clients. If you create a simple website you can place scanned images of the portraits onto your website. If for instance you live in San Diego you could have the title of you website something like “Pet Portraits in San Diego” because this is probably what people would type in when they are searching for this service.
Mural Painting - Again, if you have a flair for painting you could offer your services to those who want a mural in their home. It could be that someone wants a waterfall scene in their sunroom or Disney characters in their child’s bedroom. Again, creating a portfolio is important for this sort of thing because clients want to know the quality of your work. A mural doesn’t even have to be huge. You might offer to do some simple ivy trailing around the picture rail or you could even paint pretty designs onto mailboxes.
Face Painting - Kids simply love having their faces painted in all sorts of different patterns from a pretty butterfly to a scary zombie. Offering your services as a face painter at kids parties can bring in some extra money for you. You could even set up a stall in a busy area offering face painting. Find out what festivals and sporting activities are taking place and enquire about setting up a stall. When it comes to actually painting faces you will need to make sure that you have practiced a number of different designs to ensure you are competent enough. You will also need to buy face paints in a variety of colours. You could also diversify into hair braiding and temporary tattoos.
Remember that whatever method you use to make money as an artist you ought to conduct your activities in a professional manner. This means turning up on time, being polite, communicating with the client about what they are looking for and when the work will be completed and such like. Be careful about taking on too much work because you might end up disappointing people in terms of quality and promptness. And don’t undervalue your work. Too many artists undercharge and sell themselves short. You should also have business cards made up along with a simple leaflet explaining what you do. Many artists receive work because previous clients have been so happy that they have recommended you to their family and friends. Don’t underestimate the power of word of mouth.
Real Ways To Make Money From Home
Written by PhilMake Money With E-mail List Marketing
When you surf the internet and search for terms like "make money online" you will find a few groups of people. First there are people who build an empire by collecting e-mail addresses from people who find their way on the websites that they own. For example someone could build a website in a specific niche that had a e-mail submit form. You would subscribe to their mailing list where they would give you more advice and information on the subject at hand. These mailing lists can be quite efficient in many niches and if they are properly done, the people who are subscribed to them can get real information and useful offers.
Once someone would have a good mailing list that is targeted - means that these are people who are interested in a specific thing - the owner of the list would then start sending them periodic offers via e-mail about products that they could be interested in. Think about having 10 000 people who are all interested in mountain bikes, and then send them great offers about mountain bike apparel and accessories. A good amoun ot these people would convert in to sales - buy the product that you offer them - and in the making you would get a good comission. Here the hardest part of the work is to get a good targeted mailing list, and once you have that you can make money from home.
Make Money With Niche Websites
Another real way to make money from home is to build websites. Basically you will have to build the sites no matter which approach you use, because websites are the most prominent way of making money online. With niche websites you will have to focus in a specific at them. The more targeted the crowd the better the conversion rate usually. What this means that if you have a website that is focusin on mountain bikes, chances are that 5% or 1% or the visitors there are going to click on an ad and even less of them are going to purchase a products. But if your website is very targeted and you are only focusing on reviewing the best mountain bike pedals with locks, a larger percent of the visitors are going to be interested in just that. The problem is that the crowd of visitors is going to be a lot smaller, but a lot easier to sell to. Someone looking for mountain bikes, might be just to browse some pictures, look for information, and maybe even try to find a discussion forum or something similar. People looking for the best pedals are definitely searching for something to buy.
Making Money With Seo
There is a lot of debate on which is the best way to get traffic to your website, and there is a group of people that will tell you that the best way to do it is to be social. That would mean that you would go in to every possible mountain biking related website, social group (Facebook groups, Twitter, forums) and try to establish your position as an expert. When that is done you would simply throw in a link to your website every now and then trying to get people to read your posts and then maybe make a purchase every now and then. It is a great plan and in a perfect world we could all do that. The problem is that not all of us are that social, and even if we are, we can't please everyone, or we just don't want the publicity. Ther is an option that can help you make money from home, and that is called search engine optimization.
The more targeted your website is to a small niche, the easier it is going to be to get search engine traffic for search terms that are related to that niche. So ithis means that if you are interested in mountain bikes in general, you would start ten to fifteen websites that are all focused on a single part of the bikes. This way you could serve ads and offers for those specific parts - the people on your website would be looking for that particular part, and they would find your site about it.
Once you have finished the website, you are going to have to obtain backlinks pointing to that website, with anchor texts that are appropriate in your niche. So if you decide to start a website on bike pedals and you publish a lot of articles on places like infobarrel.com and ezinearticles.com with links pointing to your website, you want the anchor text to be "bike pedals" or something similar. You don't want to link out with an anchor that is "website" or "click here". The anchor text is what matters to search engines, since they can define what your website is about based on that text.
Building an additional income from home is not an easy project, although it might be simple. It is jsut a matter of locating a low competition niche, building a website, and then building backlinks to it.Once you have done it successfully with one website, you can repeat the process with another website, and you are on your way to making money while sitting in your home. This can be quite low maintenance once it is done, and you can spend months without really working, and not see a dent in your income.
How To Make Money On The Internet
Written by AprilWrite Articles
Many website owners want new and fresh content on a regular basis to keep visitors coming back. The problem is that these website owners often don’t have a lot of time to write the content themselves. This is why they outsource writing to freelance writers.
If you enjoy writing about all sorts of different topics then you could make money doing this. Of course, as with any other business it can take time to build up a reputation for quality and customer service. Many make the mistake of pricing themselves too low to begin with and they “burn out.” This is certainly not a good long-term strategy.
Naturally, if you live somewhere like India then you might feel that the cost of living is so low that you can afford to price yourself lower than those living in Western countries.
Whatever approach you decide to take it’s essential that you build up a portfolio so that potential clients can see what sorts of topics you can write about and so that they can see the quality of your writing. You could create a free blog at Blogger and then add articles you fell reflect your writing skills.
Then sign up with companies such as rentcoder.com and odesk.com as they will help you find clients and deal with the billing side of things. Make sure you present yourself professionally and respond to enquiries promptly and politely.
Blog Commenting
One of the popular techniques for doing SEO on a website is to leave comments on what’s known as “do follow blogs.” The problem is that website owners don’t want to do the work themselves so choose to pay someone else to do the work for them. As a result there are a number of companies out there who offer blog commenting services.
The problem is finding do follow blogs to comment on and if you have never done this sort of thing before it’s really confusing to know where to start. There are a few software applications on the market that help you find do follow blogs but the problem is that they usually use Akismet as an anti-spam measure and if you leave too many comments too quickly all of your hard work can be for nothing.
However there are many blogs that don’t have any anti-spam measures in place and it’s very easy to leave a link with your comment. There are lists of such blogs being sold on Digital Point Forums which you can buy to make it easier for you. Finding these kinds of blogs requires a lot of work and sometimes blog owners shut down comments because they are fed up with spam and this is very frustrating.
If you want to make money using this method it’s a good idea to do blog commenting for your own websites first to get a hang of it and it isn’t recommended for the beginner.
Make Your Own Website
The problem with offering services such as writing articles or blog commenting is that you have to keep doing it in order to make money. Basically you have a job. Whereas if you create your own website you will find that once the money starts coming in from advertisers you will continue to enjoy that money for potentially years to come.
As good as this sounds there’s still a lot of hard work involved. However, in order to get the ball rolling you need to first of all come up with a theme for your website. A good place to start is to think of problems people have in their lives that can be resolved by purchasing products or services. Here are some ideas:-
- Acne
- Cellulite
- Termites
- Moss
- Rust
- Weeds
You then need to see about buying a domain name with some of the keywords in it. Go Daddy is a very popular place to buy web domains and there are many different discount codes listed on many websites you can use to get a cheaper price. Personally I have found that the discount code emma30 works very well. You will then need to buy hosting for your website and this can be bought from HostGator at a very cheap monthly price.
If you don’t want to spend any money you can set up an account with Word Wolf. Not only is it free to set up an account here at WordWolf, the domain already has a lot of authority in the search engines so you will find that visitors to your articles will start arriving very quickly. Which in turn will help you earn more money.
You will also want to sign up for Google Adsense as they will display ads on the website. When a visitor sees an ad that is related to your articles and click on the ad, you will get paid. Please note, that some “misguided” website owners click on their own ads in order to try and make more money. This is a very bad idea as you will simply get your account banned and any money that is owed to you will be returned to the advertiser.
Other Ideas For Making Money On The Internet
If you have skills in website design or graphic design then you can offer your services to people who lack the skills that you do. How much you charge will depend on how good you are however if you have a look at other websites offering the same services you will be able to have a look at their prices.
Forums such as Digital Point Forums can be very good if you are starting out and want to build up a customer base. You can also register with freelance websites like rentcoder.com, elance.com and odesk.com. They will take a percentage of what you earn but they have loads of clients who are looking to outsource loads of tasks. Spend a bit of time looking around these websites to see what’s on offer.
Conclusion
Don’t think for a moment that any of this is easy. There are people walk blindly into making money online only to find that they give up when the don’t start making the money they hoped for. Of course, if you have lost your job or have been forced to have some bed rest then it’s something you can try your hand out. You don’t really have anything to lose. Make sure you don’t get sucked into any scams. There’s no need to spend a lot of money to learn how to make money on the internet. Of course, there are some very good tools on the market which can help speed up certain tasks, but to begin with you don’t need to spend any money at all if you don’t want to.
Donate Blood For Money
There are a number of articles floating about on the internet telling you that you can donate blood for money however if you look at the Red Cross website they tell you that they don’t pay for blood. So what do you do if you want to sell your blood? Well, there are two good websites you can look at which are BloodBanker and BioLife where you will find details of blood banks near you. Generally you can be paid between $20 and $50 per donation meaning if you go every week you could earn up to $200 a month. Of course, you need to factor in the expense of visiting your nearest blood bank which could potentially be several miles away.
Create Websites and Blogs For Other People
Everyone wants to get involved in having their very own slice of the internet however most people either don’t have the technical knowledge or can’t be bothered to create their own site. If you have any experience of creating websites and blogs you might be able to set something up very easily. Of course, how much you charge depends on your own level of expertise. If you can create really amazing websites with custom themes and graphics then you can charge a lot more than creating something very simple and basic.
Create Websites and Blogs For Other Yourself
There are so many people busily creating their own sites for profit. What you need to do is create sites with helpful articles explaining to people how to do things. It might be that you write about the different methods of getting rid of vermin or it could be what products to buy if you have greasy hair. You can then place affiliate ads for eBay, Amazon and other merchants on your pages. Alternatively you could place ads by Google Adsense on Chitika.
Create T-Shirts And Other Products
If you are an artistic sort of person you could start a shop at CafePress and produce logos for printing on various products such as t-shirts, mugs and aprons. Once you have decided what products you want in your store and what price they should be sold at you can leave the rest to CafePress who will take the orders and ship them out.
Sell Second Hand Items on eBay
We all know how much folks love spending money on eBay. Often people go straight to eBay and don’t even bother looking elsewhere. The result is that people go nuts bidding against each other pushing the price right up. If you are an expert on a particular niche and know the prices inside out you could try and source items locally at garage sales and bric-a-brac shops. Then sell them on eBay for an inflated price. Make sure you take plenty of good photos and write up a good description of the products.
Become a Tutor
Every time there are exams coming along, kids all over the world groan at the thought of having to study. Often children have a hard time of understanding their subjects and need a little helping hand. If you are a whiz at a particular subject such as math, English or music you could advertise your tutoring services. Create a website with details of who you are and what subjects you tutor in. Alternatively you could advertise in your local paper, print up leaflets and generally let people know that you are offering tutoring.
Rent Out a Driveway or Garage
If you are a student that is lucky enough to have a driveway or garage then you can rent this extra parking space out to people. Just sign up with the website Park at My House and enter your details. The sort of person who would want to park their car at your house will vary. Some people are commuters and want their car parked whilst they are working. Other people might be going to a stadium to watch a concert. How much you can earn from this will depend on the demand for parking in your area. If parking is scarce then you could easily make very good coin.
Sell Ad Space On Your Car
Yes, you really can earn money whilst you are driving your car about. There are a number of advertisers out there who want to get their brand across and car advertising is becoming fairly popular. Basically, vinyl decals called “auto wraps” are placed on your car. How much you earn really depends on the kind of car you own and where you normally have it parked. If you park your where it’s busy then you’ll get a lot more money than if you leave it parked in the middle on nowhere.
If you’re a student and leaving your car parked in the college campus then you might find yourself having advertisers promoting gadget-related products because students are their target market. Often you will have a GPS system placed in the car so that the company knows where the car has been parked and to make sure they are getting a good deal from you. Just make sure that when signing up with a company that you don’t pay a fee. It should be free of charge and if they try and charge then they are just trying to scam you. Drivenmediaonline.com is a good website to look at for more info.
Become A Nude Model For Art Students
If you don’t mind a room full of art students looking at your naked body then this is a good way to make extra money. There are loads of art schools that urgently need nude models and it’s not always easy for them to do so. Naturally, a lot of people are embarrassed about their bodies but if you are fine about yours then you could make very good money. You don’t have to have the body of a Greek God or Goddess. You can be bony, fart, short or tall. It doesn’t matter. As long as you can hold a pose for extended periods of time then you’ll be fine.
Conclusion
If you’ve been wracking you mind trying to come up with ideas for making money but without doing the usual boring jobs such as waiting tables then hopefully the above list will be of use. Just make sure you don’t fall for any of these get-rich-quick schemes that are out there. Remember, you want to make money, not be scammed out of money!
Hosting for Your Own Website
There are some places you can make a free website such as Blogger and Blinkweb but I will be explaining how to make money by having a website that you control yourself. This doesn't have to cost very much and you will be in complete control. Domain names are around $9 each and you can set up hosting for around $9 a month. This is not just for one website however. Most of these deals allow you to host 'unlimited' websites for this monthly cost. Although it says 'unlimited' there are usually limits on the disk space you can use but I have 20 sites on one Hostgator account and could easily add some more. There are lots of hosting companies that offer very cheap deals for hosting sites and I don't want to get into a hosting review here. For sites that you care about go for a reliable, well known hosting company like Hostgator. I have used them for a long time now and they are reliable. if you do decide to cut costs with a cheaper company do your homework first and always keep a copy of your website files and database just in case!
Choosing a Domain Name for Your Website
This is not quite as easy as picking a name you fancy and going over to Go Daddy to buy it. You'll need to do some research first on which keywords you are going to be aiming for. Choosing keywords is a huge subject and there is more information on this at Understanding Free Website Traffic. Try to get your keywords into your domain name if at all possible. If the domain name you want is not available you could add another word to it like best or shop. One thing to be careful of is to avoid using a copyrighted name. You don't want to make a site with a domain such as amazonbargains.com as sooner or later Amazon will come along and shut you down!Building Your Website
There are many ways to build a website but one of the easiest ways for a beginner is to use WordPress. You may think that's just for blogs but, in fact, WordPress is adaptable for many different kinds of sites. Most hosting companies have something called Fantastico (accessed via the control panel) which will install WordPress for you. There are a huge number of plugins available that can be used to make your site behave exactly how you want. I have yet to think of something I would like to do with WordPress and not find a plugin available. The majority are free although some plugins for commercial purposes may cost. There are also a huge number of themes available but if you are aiming to make money from your site a simpler design is recommended. It's easy to add content to your WordPress site by writing and publishing a post or a page. Although WordPress is fairly easy to use it will take you some time to get your first site exactly how you want it but after that you will be able to produce more sites relatively easily. How Can You Make Money With Your Own Website?
Before you even buy a domain name you should decide how you will monetise your site. Are you going to use Adsense or promote Amazon, eBay or other affiliate products? There are a number of plugins available to include these types of products on your website. One thing to be careful of is to add plenty of unique content to your site as well as any affiliate products. Google clearly does not like what are termed 'thin' affiliate sites and you risk Google dropping you from its index if your sites are devoid of content. Make your site interesting and full of useful information for the visitors.Research, Research and more Research!
Making money with your own website can be fun but it will be WORK! You can't expect to make a full time living by working ten minutes a day despite what some people online would like you to believe! You will either need to make a lot of small, niche sites that each make a small amount each day (which can add up to a good income) or invest your time in just a few larger. authority sites. Either way you will need to be commited to putting in the work required to learn how to make money online by doing keyword research, learning how to set up your website and then learning how to get your site to the top of the search engine pages! We haven't even touched how to get traffic to your site! Understanding Free Website Traffic for more information on this HUGE topic! And don't forget, once your website is up and running, to come back to WordWolf and write an article with a link back to your site. How To Make Money With A Website
Written by AprilYou’ve probably heard people talking about how easy it is to make money with a website. But if you have never even set up a website before it can be really confusing to know where to start. You will find all sorts of different websites telling you about the “perfect” way to make money and how easy it is.
Fist of all, you should know that making money with a website can take in various forms. Some people set up what is known as an e-commerce site where real products are sold. Basically you need to find products that you can sell for a profit, is in demand and can easily be shipped out to the customer. This is much easier said that done. Here are the problems with setting up an e-commerce site:-
1) A lot of companies require you to spend a minimum amount of money with them yet if you don’t have much money to spend you might not be able to afford the minimum order.
2) Many companies don’t provide photographs of the products which means if you are selling something like fashion accessories you will need to take the photographs yourself . This isn’t very easy if you are not familiar with product photography.
3) You’ll have to compete with the larger stores that have really professional photographs and website design which make the products look amazing. If you are on budget and have to do all the website work yourself you might not be able to create the professional image you are looking for.
4) What if you don’t get enough people to visit your store and you are left with loads of stock you can’t sell? You could therefore end up losing a lot of money.
5) What happens if you want to take time off for vacation or illness? If you are working on your own you might not have anyone to run your business which means shutting up shop for that time. Resulting in loss of revenue and customer trust.
So is there a way of making money with a website that will offer you the following benefits?
Requires no start-up money
Requires no technical knowledge
Will earn you passive income 24/7
Actually, the answer is yes. Here at Word Wolf you can easily make money by writing articles on any subject you wish and in return you will receive the majority of the advertising revenue. Here’s what you need to do:-
Get Yourself a Google Adsense Publisher ID
For those of you who are not familiar with Adsense, Google displays targeted ads on your webpages and you then receive a percentage of what the advertiser spends. Thousands upon thousands of advertisers from all around the world advertise their products and services with Google which means you don’t have to worry about finding these advertisers yourself. All you have to do is write the articles and Google will then display the most appropriate ads.
How to Create An Adsense Account
If you don’t yet have an account with Adsense you need to create an account with Word Wolf by clicking here. Then you need to add at least 6 articles which are about 400 - 500 words in length. Make sure that these articles are helpful to visitors and will help them find what they are looking for.
You can then sign up for Adsense here. When signing up for Adsense they will ask you for your website address. What you need to give them is your author profile page which will look something like: http://wordwolf.com/author/myusername.html.
What Should Your Articles Be About?
They can be pretty much about anything, however it’s a good idea to write about a topic that you are familiar with. If you have a dog you could write about dog training or the costs involved in owning a dog. If you’ve just been on vacation you could write about that.
When giving a title to your article make sure you think about what someone might actually type into the search engines. There’s no point in giving your article a title of “Why I Love Barbados” because it’s unlikely anyone will search for that. Instead something like “Where To Stay in Barbados” would be more appropriate.
Hopefully this article will give you some ideas about how you can genuinely make money with a website, no matter what level of experience you have. How much you earn will entirely depend on how much work you put into it. You might only have an hour a day which means you’ll possibly earn enough to buy a few treats for yourself. Whereas if you have several hours a day you can easily make a full time income. You can also work wherever and whenever you like as all you need is a computer with an internet connection.
Make Money Writing Articles Online
Written by janetIf you have a flair for writing then you could make money writing articles online. You can start off without having to invest any money yourself although, once you get started, you might move into creating a website on your own server. That's for another article however. In this article I'll talk about writing articles for Word Wolf and other sites and how you can make money doing it.
How to sign up for adsense
The first thing you'll need to do is to sign up for an adsense account. Many of the sites online that share revenue have adsense ads on the site. You will tell them your adsense ID and you then receive a share of the revenue that they make when people click on the ads on your articles. You can sign up for an adsense account without having a website yourself. Go to Google adsense to sign up.
Sign up for adsense using Word Wolf
Once you have registered with Word Wolf you will need to publish at least six articles, preferably more. We know people who have been approved with six articles but ten would be better. Make your articles at least 400-500 words. Once you have done that then apply to adsense and give them the address of your page on Word Wolf. This is the page with an address similar to http://wordwolf.com/author/yourname.html. Adsense approval can vary from a few hours to more than a week so be patient. Once you have your ID then come back to your Word Wolf account page and enter the whole of the ID (in the form pub-123456789).
Sign up for adsense using a Blogger Blog
Another way that seems to be quite successful is to make a free Blogger blog. You can do this at Blogger. Blogger blogs are very easy to set up with a good range of themes to choose from. Pick a subject that you know well and that you can write at least ten posts about.
What should I write about?
Well you should, of course, write about a subject you know about but there's more to writing articles online to make money than just writing about anything that takes your fancy! You'll need to pick subjects that people will be searching for online so that they come to your page on Word Wolf. For example, you probably arrived at this page by typing 'how to make money writing articles online' into Google! You were looking for the answer to a problem and 'hopefully' this article has answered it. This is a huge subject but the first thing to do is to think about what people need answers to. You could look at Yahoo Answers to find out what are good topics to choose.
How to use Google's keyword tool to find ideas
'How to' articles are great. Another way to find a subject that people are searching for is to use Google own Keyword Tool. I typed 'How to' into the search box and found a list including 'How to roast' and 'How to budget' . Now 'How to Roast' wouldn't be a great idea as there are a ton of websites that teach you 'how to roast' but then I put How to Roast' into the search box and came up with 'how to roast beef tenderloin', 'how to cook a pot roast' and 'how to roast a leg of lamb'. Putting 'How to budget' into the search box I came up with 'how to budget my money' and 'how to budget properly'. Just a few ideas, you'll want to find some of your own that are being searched for and that you can write an interesting article about!
Using channels in Adsense
Once you've written some articles you'll want to see which sites you're making money from! This is easy in adsense as you can use channels to track which site or which articles receives clicks. To track a site got to 'adsense setup' then 'channels' and then click on URL channels and add the site. For example to track clicks on Word Wolf enter wordwolf.com into the box. If you'd prefer to track individual articles click on 'custom channels' instead and enter the complete address of your article.
There are many other ways to make money writing articles online but I hope this short introduction has given you some things to think about to get started.
Legitimate Ways Of Making Money Online
Written by AprilLoads of people really hate working for other people and want to set up some sort of business on their own. Alternatively, they might have been made redundant and urgently need to start making some money to pay the bills. The internet can be a really great place to start earning money but there are so many different techniques that can be used it’s difficult to know what you should and shouldn’t try.
Unfortunately there are many scams on the internet making all sorts of false claims about how to make $1,467 in an hour whilst sitting on the beach. They make false claims, they use PhotoShop to doctor the their earnings and they even make up the testimonials. Do yourself a favour and ignore these bogus claims.
The truth is that it takes a lot of time and effort to make money online. It’s like anything else, you need to learn the ropes and figure out a lot of things yourself. There are also a lot of blogs created by people who are offering up tips on making money online but the truth is they aren’t making money very successfully at all.
What happens is they read a blog by some “blogging guru” who tells everyone to create a blog and talk about what they are passionate about. So the person reading this decides that they are passionate about making money online so that’s what they write about. My advice is not to do this because there’s so much competition in this area and you really need to know what you are doing to make money from it.
Don’t get into the trap of reading every website and blog and forum out there. If you only have limited time everyday then you don’t want to waste it by reading junk. Instead you need to focus on your business.
Although writing about something you are familiar with is a good idea you don’t have to be particularly passionate about it. For instance I know quite a bit about home improvement because I’ve done different DIY tasks around the home and I’ve watched my dad who is a joiner to trade. I don’t particularly enjoy DIY but I can write about it very easily because I have first-hand experience in the subject.
When writing articles for your websites make sure you think about problems that people experience and would gladly pay money for a product or service to deal with the problem. For instance, if you found mouse droppings in your kitchen would you pay money for mouse traps or an exterminator to get rid of them? I‘ve had mice in my kitchen and I bought some mouse traps because of it! So think about what people might type into the search engines to get help on this subject. For instance, for those who want to get rid of mice they might type in “how to get rid of mice from my kitchen.”
There are people who will tell you that if you write fantastic information people will feel compelled to link to you. Sure, I’ve had people link to me but usually it’s because I’m already ranking highly in the search engines in the first place. And the reason that I’m ranking high is because I have learnt about Search Engine Optimization (SEO).
So how do you go about creating a blog anyway? Well there are some free options such as Blogger, BlinkWeb, Weebly, HubPages, InfoBarrel and also Word Wolf. You just create an account and then start posting “how to” articles helping people with their problems and talking about products and services that can help them.
Alternatively you can buy your own domain at godaddy.com and then get a hosting account at hostgator.com. You can create your blog using WordPress which can be installed via Fantastico or you could try the self-hosted version of Blogger which is a lot simpler to use. However if you really don’t have much technical skill or money then one of the free options is better to start with to allow you to get your “feet wet” so to speak.
The best way to monetize these articles is with either Google Adsense or Chitika so make sure you sign up with these companies too. With Adsense you need to have a domain with at least 10 articles on it to show the quality of the site you produce. If you are going to go with a revenue sharing site such as Word Wolf or HubPages you should have 10 articles published and then list your author page as the domain.
So basically if you are looking for a legit way of making money online you need to avoid the “get rich quick” schemes that will just take your money and leave you with nothing to show for it. There’s loads of great information out there but there’s also a lot of junk so be very careful about what road you go down when it comes to making money online.
Creative Ways To Make Extra Money
Written by AprilLet’s face it. We all would like to make an extra buck or so. There seems to be so many bills to pay off and once you’ve paid them there doesn’t seem to be very much left for extra treats and such like. So if you want to find some creative ways to make extra money then hopefully you’ll be able to find them here:-
Rent Out Your Driveway/Garage
If you have a car garage that’s just sitting there not being used or you have a large driveway for some extra cars then you can actually make pretty good money by renting this space out. There are different ways to go about it but one way is to sign up at parkatmyhouse.com.
A big reason why people might want to rent your garage or driveway is because they are wanting to go to a stadium, airport, train station, ferry terminus or some other place like this. In built-up areas parking can be very difficult and if you simply leave it in a random street or public car park you might worry about your car being stolen or vandalised.
However if they pay you to keep their car in your driveway or garage they will feel a lot more comfortable. I mean, if you were going somewhere by ferry for a couple of weeks and you had to leave your car in a public car park, would you feel comfortable? Personally this is what I do most years when I visit the island of Canna and I always worry about leaving the car. I would be happier if I was leaving it at someone’s house.
When you sign up with Park At My House it doesn’t cost any money at all. They just take a 15% commission which isn’t all that much. The amount of money you can charge for renting out car space can vary greatly depend on where you are. If you live in the middle of nowhere then you might struggle (although it’s still worth signing up anyway). If you live in a major city near to a stadium or transport link then you could make quite a lot of money.
Alternatively you could look to advertise space in your local paper because there might be someone in the area who doesn’t have a garage and wants to keep their car safe at night. Or perhaps they are a commuter and you live near to where they work.
Rent Out Garden Space
I was reading in my local paper some time ago about a lady who had a large garden that she really wasn’t interested in maintaining. She knew that there was a long waiting list for people looking for allotment space to grow fruit and veg so she decided that she would allow people to grow produce in her garden.
She didn’t mention anything about charging any money for it but you could try and see how you get on. A lot of people these days are wanting to grow their own produce because they want to eat food that is healthy and organically grown.
To advertise your space you could simply put up a notice board saying that you are looking to rent out plots of your garden for x amount of money. You could also place an ad in your local paper. Even if you don’t charge any money for the plots, you could always do a barter system by asking for some produce in return.
Become a Secret Shopper
There are companies out there who really want to make sure their business is being run properly so they hire the services of a secret shopper. Basically, you’re given an assignment to go into a particular shop and carry out specific tasks such as ask questions, buy products and look at how clean the shop is.
A lot of people will say that by doing secret shopping you will get paid to shop. But I haven’t found this to be 100% true. I have had a couple of hair cuts, a pizza and also a couple of cheap bars of soap. But the other things I bought such as Cds and shoes had to be returned. (What’s the fun in that?!). The pay wasn’t all that great either. Every job is that bit different and you need to make sure you read your instructions carefully. You also need to fill in the forms with detailed information about your experiences.
Over all I didn’t really think secret shopping was worth it but if you don’t have anything better to do it’s still worth signing up with some companies to see what sort of assignments you get. You might be lucky and be given some cool jobs.
So yes, there are some very creative ways to make extra money besides the usual ones you read about such as pet sitting, car washing, gardening and selling stuff on eBay. You might as well give them a go to see how you get on. Just make sure you remember to declare your earnings to the tax man otherwise you might get into a spot of bother!
